P-1A Visa Approval for MMA Figther Oron Kahlon

Oakhurst Legal Group is proud to announce that P-1A Client, Oron Kahlon, made the best of an opportunity and won his bout on Dana White’s Contender Series! Dana White’s Contender series is a premier proving ground for the world’s best mixed martial artist and airs Tuesdays on ESPN. Oron Kahlon, who hails from Israel, was able to obtain his P-1A within a month and a half on regular processing. After obtaining a timely P-1A interview at the United States Consulate in Israel, he came to the United States with the work authorization to complete the right way.

Securing P-1A Visa Leads to Opportunities in Combat Sports

It is much more difficult to obtain a P-1A visa and admission to the United States under both the P-1A and O-1A categories than ever before. For this reason, many combat sports promotions are using more domestic talent in the United States and relying on foreign talent to handle their own immigration status. There is an uphill battle for unsigned mixed martial arts to obtain P-1A visas because of the itinerary requirement. Fortunately, we have already battled this out with USCIS and won (reference assu case). By overcoming this obstacle, mixed martial artists can obtain P-1A visas, even while being unsigned, and then come to the United States to compete with any promotion.

Congrats to Oron Kahlon and his Management Team, First Round Management

We are pleased Oron and his management team were able to take advantage of our services and fast track Oron to the upper echelon of mixed martial arts.
